Sheep Pass Highlands - Pano

Image(s)

Image Description

A panoramic view of Sheep Pass during a sunrise. Although I’m sure this was named after the Big Horn sheep that were seen here at one time or another, but I’ve never seen any here myself. However, years ago I did see a few skirting across a road near the other end of the park.
I always thought on a rainy day I might try to count all the rocks and boulders in this scene…NOT.

Paul: There probably is an app that could count the rocks for you but I’m disappointed you won’t take up the challenge. Considering how sparse the vegetation is I’m amazed that anything as large as sheep could thrive there. Marvelous light and sky and terrific details. :+1: :+1:>=))>

Hi Paul,
All you have to do is make a grid and count the rocks in each section. All joking aside this is quite lovely. With the warmth you captured both in the rocks and the sky I thought for sure this would be Velvia not Ektachrome. I am also liking the diagonals of the rock formation. I have no suggestions as this is another of your beautifully crafted images form JTNP.
