Very nice, Allen. Excellent detail in the body and head of the dragonfly. The wing blur works pretty well. An even slower shutter speed would probably have produced a slightly more pleasing blur, but the odds are you would have gotten motion blur in the body as well, so this is probably as good as it gets. Nice position in the frame.

Allen: Terrific flight shot and a wonderful BG. I think your SS is a good compromise. The eye and body are tack sharp and that carries the image for me. >=))>

A great catch on a DF in flight with a fine background. Getting the entire DF body sharp on an inflight view is quite a feat.
