Sunrise this morning in Paradise Valley MT, with air quality in the “unhealthy for sensitive groups” range due to smoke from the multitude of wildfires to the west. A 2 shot pano. (R5, 100-500 @ 135, 1/160 s, f/16, iso 400, tripod)

The wildfires are too bad, but it does do very interesting things to the sun.
I hate wildfire smoke lol, but you gotta love the way it transforms the light and the sun! Not sure there’s much else to say here… =)
Mark,
The conditions most certainly make for a very surreal image. I agree that I don’t care for what the conditions represent - the awful fires… but then we are so attracted to colors that we still can find beauty - well, beauty on the surface anyway, ugly underneath… but we all get that.
Only small nit if I were to mention, would be the fence posts in the LLC. Not enough included in the frame to contribute, so I would be inclined to clone out - even though they’re pretty insignificant to the over image and message.
