Mark, I’d have to say this is about as a perfect fit for this weeks “Low Contrast” theme as it can be… 
Reminds me of why all my Siberian Huskies were naturally face masked and had blue eyes to combat this intense light almost leaning towards snow blindness here…

Quite fitting for the challenge for sure. I know it’s real tempting to want more contrast here, but of course this captures the mood, the season, and conditions quite perfectly.

Agreed! In fact I’d say I can ever remember spending time thinking about “low contrast” images when out in nature. hmmmm, guess maybe it’s time to!
