I like the black and white conversion, Armin. It seems to help bring out the nice detail in the egret and the reflection is quite nice as well. Maybe a tad more room behind the egret and I wonder about decreasing the exposure on the white area above the egret. Nice low level image from your kayak.
I think you did a fine job on the Black and White conversion, Armin. You achieved a very artistic look. I could see a touch more room behind the tail, if you have it, and I think it could use just the slightest bit of clockwise rotation as the tail of the real bird is slightly closer to the edge than the reflected tail and they should line up vertically.
Love this B&W conversion Armin, I need to think about doing that more often. Great detail in the feathers. Agree with Dennis on a bit more room for the tail. Just about all of my bird shots are from a kayak because that’s where they are!
HI Armin, very nice black and white image. Details looks spot on. The reflection, water and background work well with the egret. Agree with a slight clockwise rotation and a bit more room on the left.
