Superb light and plumage detail here. Nice contrast between both wings with respect to the light. Excellent wing position and clarity throughout. Background is very good.
Great shot, indeed, Allen. I love the position of the egret. You just got to love those yellow feet, and they are just dangling nicely. Wonderful wing position as well. Sweet light and background.
Nice wing position, Allen. I like the composition with the far wing forming a nice diagonal. The low contrast of the beak and legs with the background take some getting used to, but I find I like it that way. It takes me a little while to pull them out and that’s a good thing.
