Snowy Plovers

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

There was a small flock of Snowy Plovers on the beach and I was able to get a number of shots, but I liked the ones with this piece of driftwood and felt it added to the scene.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Nice scene Allen. I like the driftwood also. Seems to be in really nice light with birds, wood, and sand reflecting that. I could see taking out the light blob in the lower center or perhaps try a crop from bottom to further emphasize the birds and wood. Nicely seen and taken.

Love the simplicity of the scene. Birds are sharp and I love the driftwood. Without it, it would just be any other photo of birds on a beach.. :clap:t2:

A beautiful scene you’ve captured here Allen, I’m enjoying the detail and agree about the driftwood being included, which, along with the faint sand patterns, adds interest to the image. A little cropping may enhance the birds further.

Beautiful, Allen. Superb job on the focus and nice eye contact from both birds. Personally I’d probably crop a fair amount off the top and bottom, but that’s just my taste.

HI Allen
The driftwood does add to build a story for these two Snowy Plovers. Nice work.
