Description
I photographed this encounter at Rocky Neck State Park on May 1, at 3:40 PM. A pair of Ospreys were trying to setup a nest and their neighbors were having none of it. Stay out of are backyard. Thank you for stopping by.

Osprey are very territorial, and it’s fun to see the interactions. I love #1 and #2, although all are great, because of the wing positions.
You’re really posting some great shots!!
A nice series of the Ospreys, Peter. The second and fourth are my favorites. The leading bird is just a bit soft in the first image and the shaded head in the third image takes away just a bit from the impact.
A very nice series and I agree with Dennis that the second and fourth are the best ones. You can also tweak down the highlights slightly to bring out some of the feather texture…Jim
