Description
Part of the landscaping in Ko Olina, Oahu, HI. These spider lilies were amazing. I loved the delicate designs and the bright colors.
Specific Feedback
Any comments are appreciated. Thanks for taking a look. I’m not sure the repost really improves much, other than my finding several ants to clone out. I selected the whites and tried to make sure levels and detail were as good as they could be.

Another beautifully presented image that makes me long to return to Hawaii. It is a very special place. Family health problems keep us from returning. Thank you for your Hawaii images.
Ed, this is gorgeous! You picked a perfect bloom
(I remember Catherine Reilly telling me when I first started with flowers, to find a perfect bloom first)
Fabulous colours and perfect BG and whites.
Maybe just a little tight inthe frame. I know it’s always tempting to crop in with a subject like this.
Sweet image, and I echo Jim’s thanks for all the great Hawaii images.
This is really nice, Ed. I like the composition a lot and as noted the flower is in a nearly perfect stage for photography. I don’t know if it’s possible, but I could see trying to tease a little texture out of the open petals, but it’s quite possible that there just isn’t enough there.
Ed: A really tough flower to shoot. Here you have a good combination of pristine bloom, enough room to get it all in and a complementary BG. Well seen and superbly captured. >=))>
