The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I was stunned by the size of the white plumeria trees on Oahu, Hawaii last week. The trees were covered with incredible numbers of blossoms. They were beautiful. I decided to add a B&W version after experimenting a bit. It was kind of shocking to see the yellow disappear, but I love it.
Specific Feedback
The white blossoms really stand out against the dark leaves. I left the leaves dark intentionally, but didn’t darken them more as I normally would be tempted to. Not sure if I should have cloned out the tip of the closed blossom on the bottom in this one. I did clone out a few brown spots on the blossom on the left. Comments on crop, color, cloning and anything else are welcomed. Thanks for taking a look.
Technical Details
Canon R6Mii, f7.1, 1/1250s, iso 800, 100-500 lens at 500mm. Cropped for centered composition.

Plumeria ARE beautiful, and the fragrance is heavenly. Few things can beat the variety and elegance of the Hawaiian flowers.
This is a nice portrait, with good positioning of the flowers in the frame. Personally, I’d clone out the bud tip, as well as the dark branch at the top. I like the faint outlines of the right and left dark BG leaves.
Sounds like you’re having a great trip!
Lovely composition and gorgeous whites! I’d pick the bud tip and clone out the bit of blue in the UL corner. Minor nits for a successful image! Closing my eyes and inhaling the fragrant tropical air!
Thank you @Diane_Miller and @Dennis_Plank. I went a head and did a little photographic surgery and reposted the result. I think it is much simpler and cleaner.
Ed: The repost made a fine image even better. We were in Hawaii in November of 2022 and were so pleasantly surprised by the flora on the islands. You’ve captured this wonderfully. >=))>
