The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I stopped on a beach road in DennisPort, Mass to photograph a Great Egret in a small stream behind the Ocean. As I made my way down to the Egret, this Red-brested Merganser started its’ bath.
I thought this post would go nicely with Dennis Hooded Merganser. Thank you for stopping by.

Technical Details
Z8, Nikon 180-600mm & 1.4ext, f13, 5800mm, -.3EV, 1/1600, ISO 9000 It was cropped by 30% in DXO PhotoLab 8, and I adjusted the whites and used the Tone Curve to handle the blacks. The f13 was the result of a setting error.

Thank you for your kind words, as Lori said some time nature just hands you show to photograph.

Ps
I will post the rest of the Spin Dry tomorrow.
Great series, Peter. I always love this kind of shot and can never resist them, though I usually have small birds and not enough light to stop the action like you’ve managed in these. It gives a whole different looks to this guy. I think mine needed to do a bit of this to spruce up for his lady.
A very nice series and the sharpness is spot on. Just about every side of the bill and head are covered in the series. This is awesome and frozen water drops add essential things to the story…Jim
Hi Dennis & Jim
Thank you for your kind words. It look like I had the wrong Id for this bird, it’s a Red-brested Merganser, not a Hooded Merganser.
