These dead-leaf-like insects are very hard to find, as they hang motionless from branches and closely resemble a dried leaf. They are about 2 inches long and occur in only one small area of Australia.

Oh wow, Sandy, this is really great. Wonderful detail and color. I can see how an unsuspecting insect can mistake him for a dead leaf. Perfect shot!
