A truly wonderful image, David. I really like the small catch light in the eye. Always seems to put a little more life in them as a static photograph…

A great facial profile on a beautifier bird.
Excellent portrait of the Towhee, David. I love the little tendril dangling from the beak. These things are amazingly skittish at my place and I usually only get a decent shot when they’re fully involved in a bath.
Fascinating shot, and the expression shows a bit go ‘being caught’
