As soon as this challenge came out I went on a search and rescue mission for this image. The archive hunt was a bit tedious but I came across a number of golden oldies so it was a pleasant exercise. Found this prickly poppy all by its lonesome in a field of bluebonnets. All comments welcome. >=))>

Oooh, nice! The poppy, with that yellow center, really stands out. It has a feeling of being alone in the crowd.
