Chris: Wonderful scene and a fine comp and capture. The only thing that grabs my eye a bit is the area of FG fog along the bottom edge. My first irreverent impression was that there was some fog on the lens like an annoying smudge on my glasses. The fade to the BG is terrific and very well done. Just my 2 cents. >=))>

Chris, this one was a real eye opener. Looking at the thumbnail it really looked like a man made structure like a water tower, windmill or some other pipe or steel uprights of sorts. I think the intersecting trees especially looked like angled supports. With this all said the fog really did an excellent job of twisting the immediate impression…a reall nice find here… :+1: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I find your work quite advanced, especially considering that such regular shapes are rare in nature.

I missed this earlier but sure glad I found it now – completely wonderful!! Conditions were amazing and you wove them into an amazing composition! 11/10!

Thanks, Bill. I’m not sure exactly what you mean about the foreground. there was fog there, though.

Thanks for this wonderful comment!

@Diane_Miller Thank you, Diane.

Hi Chris,
This is flat out gorgeous; it almost has this mystical feel to it with the fog obscuring what’s in the BG and showcasing the wonderful lines of those dead trees. The verticals work quite well and the diagonals compliment them perfectly. I also think the warm tones of the grasses work beautifully in this scene. Beautifully done!

@Ed_Lowe Thank you very much for your wonderful comment!
