Very intriguing image. The title is perfect, especially with the open space, no other similar trees (it has survived the test of time) and what I perceive to be a road seen in lower left and in upper right that meanders through the area. That means easy human access and we know what some of do the spoil beautiful areas. Oh, and no perceptible carvings or defacing of the tree. I really like this.
