The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I’m still going through images from my October Oregon trip and have been reviewing some of the drone shots. I find the overhead view of these sea stacks to be most interesting. I was especially attracted to the color and weathering of the rock and the stunted foliage on the top. Storms in this area easily overwhelm even the large stacks but this one is apparently high enough to support these grasses.
Specific Feedback
I wanted to almost fill the frame with the stack and am also considering a crop with no sea. Your thoughts?

Bill - a very unique image ! The areas of greenery are quite amazing - I had no idea anything survived up there, between the salt, winds and hurricane-force rain/sleet that we get.
I think the roiling sea adds a lot, both in interest and colour contrasts.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
Unique and very interesting! I think the water adds a lot, but there is often room in a good image for a twofer. I wonder if the vegetation is sea palms? They are common down here in our “warmer” climate.
Hi Bill,
This is wonderful and I love the implied CCW rotation of the waters churning around the sea stack. I find it amazing that any plant life could survive in that environment. I think you could also do your crop that you were considering. Nothing wrong with a twofer. Very nicely done!
Hm…I’d have to see them side by side to know which would have the most dramatic effect…effective effect? LOL. Either way I think it’s striking. Maybe because I love maps and this reminds me of that kind of view. Nice work.
I sat here and stared at this one for quite some time. The longer I looked, the more I liked it. I would love to see this one printed as large as you could as there appears to be so much detail in the grasses/foliage on top of the seastack that would be a joy to explore. Of course, the intensity of the sea only adds to beauty of this one. As a big Seinfeld fan, I couldn’t help but think “The sea was angry that day, my friends!” while viewing this one.
