Description

On my 2023 Oregon coast trip I managed to crash and lose my drone before getting to the Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor. This year I started from the south and worked my way north. I’m a much better pilot now so I had a lot more confidence and ability and shooting the natural bridges was high on my list. You can almost get this POV from the observation deck but the small straight between the bridge and the BG sea stacks can only be viewed from a higher vantage point. Judging by the well worn path across the bridge perhaps it’s not altogether foolish to walk across but I was quite satisfied to observe from a safe place. >=))>

Specific Feedback

Had to shoot this HDR but my “model” was kind enough to be still while I shot the sequence. Had to add a touch of sky as the tree tops were just slightly cut off. The AI generated extra canvas looks pretty good to me. Your thoughts? Still need more room up top?

Another wondrous perspective with the drone ! I love the greenish water and the island. is fine.
Looks just a tad oversharpened and “crunchy” from here. Maybe a little more contrst would liven this up, as well, although it doesn’t look like a crisp day.
Very appealing!
That’s not a natural bridge I’D be walking over, and I’m glad you didn’t either!

An other image to look at enlarged. The little man creates depth to the image and allows to appretiate the great dimensions of this landscape. It lets feel an emotion for the precarious balance on the angry ocean. Beautiful photo.

Bill, the view through the bridge with the seastacks looks very good. Your model does a fine job of setting the perspective. I’m thinking that this is showing the effects of being an HDR image with the distand parts (including the sky) being low in contrast. The AI additions to the top mostly look very good, although there are a couple of places where a sharpness change can be seen in the largest view. The upper left corner shows motion blur where everything below is sharp.

Wow, Bill, what a scene. You are getting quite good with the drone taking these photos. I don’t think I would want to be standing where that guy is when a strong gust of wind comes along. Very well done!

This is really nice. I love the atmosphere you’ve captured in this image and that lone person standing there really adds that extra little bit to the image. You’re sure getting some great shots with your drones. Too bad you crashed your previous one.

This is quite the view Bill! Your model adds a nice sense of scale to the scene and the arch formation is quite striking. I too would be content to enjoy from the observation deck as that path does not look very wide. My only suggestion would be to add a little contrast to the upper part of the frame. I hope you have better luck with your new drone.
