We were out at the Tucson Botanical Gardens and came across this flower that the bees enjoyed.

Dean, glad to see that the bees were posing for you. We haven’t had many bees this year, which is concerning. I like the crop in vertical, I think it works well here. You captured really nice details of the bee.
Nice capture, Dean. I do agree with @Shirley_Freeman on the vertical crop, but wonder if there is just a tad more information on the right that could be included? Great detail in the eye.
Excellent getting the bee so sharp – they’re difficult subjects, and DOF can be a big problem with such a small subject.
I like the crop but I think @linda_mellor’s idea is worth a look if there aren’t distractions there – maybe a squeak more on the left as well.
