Dennis Plank and myself made another trip to the marshes and hawk lands of Southwest Washington for the second time in a week. This time we were rewarded with good weather and a fair number of avian shooting opportunities in addition to small wildlife shots. This Pied-billed Grebe was in one of the irrigation canals in the area in late afternoon sun. I really like the water and the eye detail in this image.
