I took the photo but was dismayed that this Nutria was in my local duck pond.
They have taken over the countryside and are eating up the local wildlife refuges.

Dan, a fine image even though the subject is a bit of a foe to the PNW area. The open mouth gives a slight feel of maybe what this guy is all about. The BG does a perfect job of isolating the FG subjects too…
Nice job, Dan. For a herbivore, you managed to make the Nutria look positively vicious. It would make a good “Wanted Dead!” Poster.
