Very cool and different! Who cares if it’s a landscape or a bird photo – it’s both, and lovely! Tundra Swans? We only have Mute Swans around here. (And they aren’t mute when pissed.)
Perfect Landscape shot, Dan. The mood is fine and the separation of most of the birds is terrific. Add the mystery of the tree-scape in the distance and you have a perfect shot. Well done.
Oh this is nice Dan! I would love to catch a scene like this; I’ll have to keep my eyes open. I totally agree this works as a landscape shot, and the swans add such a nice touch to an already beautiful and moody scene.
My only suggestion is that on my monitor it has a strong green tint, and if I reduce that it improves the image to my eye:
Beautiful scene Dan! Great comp with the swans coming out of the mist. The fall forest scene in the background works really well. I also like the swans reflecting in the water. Well done!
