This is the stem of some odd cut-leaf philodendron-like plant in their conservatory, showing the scars from old, fallen stems.
I thought it fit well for the WC theme this week.

Hi Sandy. I like this image because it makes me think. Maybe it’s a metaphor for nature profoundly altered by people. Or it might be a portrayal of the passage of generations. Or it could just be a mighty nice photo!
