Image Description
As with most of my images, this one was captured at a workshop. This workshop was concentrating on the California coast and on this particular day we were at Point Lobos. As I was hiking along a trail that overlooked the ocean I saw this rock formation continually being assaulted by the never ending crash of the surf. It was a rather windy day, so the waves were rather large and frequent. Of the several I took of this defiant rock, this was my favorite. It was exciting to watch the action and I think that the defiance of this rock over the ages is a great example of natures-resilience, though I do wonder as to how many millennia will pass before the ocean will wear it away.
