Taking Off (Immature Bald Eagle)

Description:

It was quite a day in Northwest Ohio. Dozens of bald eagles were easily viewed from the wildlife drive at the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. I have a whole sequence of this immature bald eagle taking off from a dead snag.

Specific Feedback Requested:

Pertinent technical details or techniques:

D850 200-400mm f4 at 350mm (1/2000 sec at f7.1, ISO 800), Levels, shadows brightened a bit, highlights toned down slightly, brightness & contrast, crop for comp. I removed one orphaned stick at the bottom of the frame.
Is this a composite? (focus stacks or exposure blends are not considered composites)

I love the high-key presentation, Jim. Excellent detail in the eagle and it’s nice to have all the tree limbs in about the same plane as the bird.
