I like the lighting in this image, Gill. The asymmetry of the flower combined with the centered composition adds some interesting tension.

Thanks I tried to create some softness in this image. Not everything perfect sharp. and left some noise in the shot. Looking for a new quality or idea that really inspires me …

I’m late here, but have to stop and say how much I love this!! Wonderful subject and composition and the softness is just right! A small crop top and bottom would remove the points of tension where a petal is touching the edge. Well done!

Thanks so much. Just a different look in black and white. :camera_flash::camera_flash::camera_flash::camera_flash::pray::earth_americas::pray:

Gil: I tend to avoid petals touching the edge of the frame but that is about the only teeny tiny nit I can find with this image. Marvelous lighting and just the right amount of contrast. Very nicely done. >=))>

Thanks. The center of the flower was my main objective. Things drifting off the edge don’t really matter to me very much. I do it a lot in my images. Maybe I have a style for myself. HA HA Thanks for showing interest. I just try to keep it fun. :camera_flash::camera_flash::earth_americas::earth_americas::pray::pray:
