Description

I don’t know whether this works or not because of the background. Here is a nice sunny day without clouds and there’s no interesting background… I left the tree in as a point of interest and perhaps to balance out the composition.

Beautiful image of the Tern, David. They do tend to favor clear blue backgrounds. I like the out of focus trees left in the image. The darker areas toward the top of them are a bit of an eye magnet. I think dodging or painting over them a bit would make this image about perfect.

I realize this is a Caspian tern. but I was thinking about stilts from looking at a previous picture. My mistake here is a redo. let me know if you think it’s okay

Hi David,
Nice, sharp in flight catch of this tern. Intriguing wing position and fanned tail. Good placement of subject in the frame. I’d be happy with either version you have posted.
