This guy was looking for a mate. This was taken at the Edinburg Wetlands Center in Edinburg, TX, one of the World Birding Centers.

Specific Feedback

DOF OK? I really was amazed at the pink colors that showed up on this lizard. They looked pretty brown and green from the back, but when he(?) lifted his chin a bit, wow!

Ed, the detail in his head is quite striking, including the reddish chin. I do think that more dof around the head/chin would be good, but I don’t know how long you had to get this view. I like the pose with him "peering from behind that green plant.

Thank you @Mark_Seaver. He was moving through on the little paving stones very quickly. This was a brief pause for surveillance by the lizard.
