Description

Coming into the parking lot, at Four Mile River I spotted this Red-tailed Hawk perch between two data cables, that spanned the parking lot. Fortunately, the Hawk cooperated and I fired off four frames.
Thank you for stopping by.
Peter
Ps I will get to more of the great photographs posted here.

Superb detail in the hawk in both frames, Peter. Too bad you couldn’t talk it into a nice head turn, but our models are just so uncooperative in this pastime. I like the our of focus trees in the background-plenty of blur to mellow them out without so much as to lose the sense of what they are.

The hawk is nice and sharp and the BG has some interesting OOF patterns. I like the first over the second, but my opinion may change after I looked them over with the larger view. Second one is a bit more dynamic over the first and the hawk’s eye is focused on something of interest. Well done…Jim

Hey Peter, these are great. Nice and sharp, and I really like the OOF BG trees. The second seems to be intently looking at something interesting.

you Had your camera at the right place and the right time. Good look at these hawks. I do love the second image a little better because of the head positioning. Natural perch would have of course been better but you get what you get. Hope you’re staying healthy.

Hi Dennis, Jim, Ed & David
Thank you of your comments. I spotted this Hawk, just as I started down to the boat launch and it was kind enough to stay put until I backup and angled the car to get this photographs.
Peter
They just have a better Union.

Excellent detail.
