I just love the glow of a morning’s early sun.

Specific Feedback Requested

I guess, is the processing too “over the top” for this forum, which tends toward absolute truism.

Technical Details

D850, 200-500 @ 200mm, f/5.6, 1/6400, ISO 1250

Wasn’t set up for shooting yet, and just made this shot to get a baseline. Obviously a 6400th of a sec shutter wasn’t needed :slight_smile:

I liked the initial exposure but was not so much enthralled with the fence in the BG so I dinked with some other processing, mostly in NIK Color Efex Pro and initially with TK Soft Pop.

Hi- nice idea here. The top third of the image doesn’t really add to the overall image here, and I would think about getting closer/higher to isolate the subject to eliminate the distracting stuff at the top.
