Imaged at Prineville reservoir (Bortle 2) in September.
asi294 color camera with Williams gt71 scope.
PP mostly in Pixinsight, Stack in Astropixel.

The wispy dust clouds are just so fantastically beautiful Dan. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

I can’t comment on the technical qualities of the image, but, visually, this is stunning. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around these types of images, knowing that it is something unbelievably far out in space. I love the colors and softness of the swirling clouds, as well as the varying tonalities. Removing the stars does bring more focus to the nebula. Just amazing!
