Peter,
I am not a bird photographer, but these look quite nice to me. I love the intent gaze of the egrets with the first being my favorite because of the ruffled feathers and the stance. Beautifully done IMO.

Peter, I too like the first shot the best. The intensity in the pose and the gase are quite striking. A vertical of this view, including the bird’s full reflection would be nice also.

Thank you for the comment. I went back and had a look at the full frame of this Snowy and the reflection, breaks up and is not defined after what you see in this post.

I love the title and the great behavioral shots, Peter! Those messy poses and behaviors are what nature is really all about and you captured these very nicely. Love the post :slight_smile:
