Specific Feedback

One of few color images of mine that I actually like. Any feedback is welcome.

The first impression: excellent contrast and composition but lights and saturation too high. This apart I like the photo.

Guy,

Excellent image indeed from the East side. Love the pond/reflection, all surrounded by the winter grasses. Composition is nicely balanced, even with the tree on the left; and the sky/clouds are of course dramatic. Interesting the whispy fog/clouds directly over the peaks; I actually kinda wish we could see all the peaks, but that’s not all that important for this image.

I would agree with Giuseppe with the lights, although as your histogram shows, not clipped. Saturation is subjective of course and I believe that a reduction in overall contrast would actually tame that saturation just right.

This is excellent as presented, contrast/lum/color/sat/contrast, all those things are personal and subjective, so take this with a grain of salt

One of these days I’ll explore this area more than driving by… Thanks for sharing.

Lon

I like the composition and the reflections but find the yellows to be too overpowering. They just scream at you.
