Self Critique

I like the colors in front and in the background, the compo is OK, I think, but is this fascinating enough?

Creative direction

I am aiming for an artistic approach in my work, but I feel often I miss a bit of creative talent. For in my eyes there is always a lack of daring. I hope you understand what I try to explain.

Canon 100-400mm, f11, 1/125sec, tripod. Two shots in the camera, the second one has shifted a little bit to the right.

I try to make paintings with my camera, now with two pics, sometimes with more.

Henny, you’ve created a strong sense of a ghostly/fantasy woods here. I can imagine some nasty fantasy creatures lurking a few steps in… The transistions from bright near the top and at the bottom to dark in the middle add well to the forboding.
