Another great series! Here, I think I like #2 best, with the touching beaks and wing position.

Looks like all smoke and no fire in this argument, Peter. I’m betting you’ve saved the best for last.

By the way, you don’t have to constrain yourself to 4 images if you don’t want to do so. If the story calls for it, go ahead and go into the edit mode and upload additional ones after you post.

Another great series, Peter. I don’t recall seeing the blue mouth before in a double-crested cormorant. Is that an eastern thing?

I think the blue is part of the breeding plumage.
