I stumbled across these fox cubs beside a field in Ireland in the summer of 2016. They were more surprised than I was, as they’d never seen a human animal before.

What an amazing find, Mike! They are so cute and posing so nicely for you!
Mike, the intensity of their stares is very striking. I am surprised about how gray the lowest parts of the image are. Did you do some heavy dodging?
I can’t remember now, Mark, but I’m pretty sure I removed some rubbish or vegetables from the bottom, probably not very well!
