Wow. Don, this is stunning. I feel this is right out of “The Lord of The Rings” movie. Spectacular image. An awe inspiring scene, captured so beautifully. I wouldn’t change a thing. Congratulations!

Thanks Mark! This was my second visit to the Totem Pole, the first time I only had a phone to capture the scene, but there was a climber ready to scale the Pole … wish I had had my gear with me, but there you go. Here is the image, it gives some scale to the landscape.

Thanks Ben it is an amazing place to spend time.

Thanks Gary, the light was extremely difficult, and bobbing around in a boat didn’t help! :slightly_smiling_face:

Double congrats then!!

And a double WOW! I think this is the first I’ve even seen of this formation - and yes, the world is full of fascinating and monumental locations. It boggles my mind at least, how in the heck things like this originally formed. It really puts things in to perspective how we humans can’t phathom the concept of time; our brief existence vs billions of years of change…

Anyway, great job with the processing as well - especially retaining and containing the sky - the presence of the clouds really help with that.

No other words really. So glad you shared this with us. Simply wonderous.

What an amazing formation, and what an amazing image of it. The tones and luminosity it has on the top part is gorgeous by itself. I wouldnt fault a thing. The only detail i could like to see diferent (due to personal preference) would be to raise the deepest black just a bit and gain more detail on the lower part, but again, just personal taste.

The image you shared with the climber its a beaty of its own by the sheer scale it shows. What and amazing scene.
