I was on the Glen Highway, headed to Anchorage on a beautiful mostly sunny day, when I came upon this very local, singular snow cloud, dumping snow like crazy on a very small area. I had to drive right through it so I stopped at a turnout and shot this photo from the middle of the tiny storm.

Gary, this is a neat mix of falling snow and scattered sunlight. The snow shows very well against the foreground trees and the cloud. The sunlit mountain in the distant create a very interesting atmosphere.
Gary: I think I recognize this scene from our trip in 2017. I wish it was more evident that this was snow falling instead of some gray blobs but I don’t know how to make that happen. I do envy you the experience. >=))>
