Three+'s a Crowd

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Our Big Red day lilies have really been showing off. These three and some buds just could not be ignored. The plane of focus for all three groups of anthers was fairly close so I didn’t have to use a lot of images for the stack.>=))>

Specific Feedback

Are the buds a plus or a distraction? I kind of like them but I can also see a cleaner comp.

Looks to me as if the fourth is the real crowd maker here, Bill. Just about ready to pop. I like this as presented. I suppose the buds could be removed, but they certainly don’t bother me.

Beautiful Image. I would take spot removal and remove the few white spots , but that is being kinda picky. The Image works great as it is. Well Done !!!

Excellent! Love the red, and the perspective is great. I think the buds add a lot, and would keep them.
Seems just a little tight at the bottom, but your choice, of course!
Loving your flower images!

Looks like a natural explosion of lilies as they always are. The exuberance is obvious and I can feel what it’s like to be amongst them. My dad is a big daylily collector and so having been in his garden a time or two, and it really is quite a sight.
