Description

Most of our day lilies bloom once in the early spring and then relax the rest of the year. A few like this variety will have a second blooming season and even rarely a third. This is phase two for this plant that I spotted this morning. All comments welcome. >=))>

Specific Feedback

Busy BG that I tried to tame with relatively shallow DOF and some burning of some too bright leaves.

Beautiful, Bill. another excellent stack-you’re getting very good at this. Since you mentioned taming the background, there are three places I see where a little more work might be nice. The leaf sticking out of the left bloom (just to the left of top) seems to have a brighter spot in it that draws my eye. The base of that same bloom feels a bit too bright and the specular highlight just below it, being the only one in the frame, could stand to go.

Your composition is wonderful.

I like everything about this one Bill. I can['t believe how well you did getting all three in great focus and still getting a nice although a bit busy BG. The petal colors are so vibrant and yet very realistic.
