Description

I visited a local NWR on Tuesday this week and saw several tree swallows fighting over nest boxes. I injured my right eye pretty badly last week but was able to capture these images.

Ouch! Keep that eye protected, Allen. Considering I don’t have a single Tree Swallow in flight that I’m at all proud of, this is quite the accomplishment. Nice light on all four images that brings out their blues very well.

Hi Allen
Ya, like what Dennis said, get well soon.
Peter

Very nice series and agree that it would be difficult to pick one over the others. So far no tree swallows have made it up to my area yet and your photos provide me with some ideas on capturing some of these birds in flight. Well done…Jim

Wow!! All are wonderful but the second and third are just incredible!!!

Best wishes for the eye healing!
