I like this, Gill. I think it like it better than your last post of this kind. The top edge feels cleaner, and the disruptions in the reflections are more universally dispersed. It doesn’t have the “head scratcher” effect of feeling like some of it is NOT reflection, which the last one had, if I remember correctly. Nonetheless, it’s engaging.
I especially like the Monet Lily-pads impression I get from the bottom where the clouds create interesting shapes in the reflection.

Thanks. The wind was moving the water and changing the clouds by the minute. One image distorted the clouds with shapes. I may post that one. Reflection photography can be challenging and fun. Always looking around and see something different. Thanks again for showing interest. Lots of great photography on the NPN. I can’t keep up. Amazing Work.
Oooh! I like the abstract qualities and the shape-shifting feeling of this image. I second Marylynne’s thumbs up on the “Monet Lily Pad” cloud reflections. I also like the textures of the reflected tree branches on the left and right of center. I have two personal preference-level suggestions. First is to maybe reduce the contrast or black for the trees reflected in the center of the image – they are too black for my eye, And Second, consider a crop or removal of the left-most tree reflection, which feels distracting to me, though again personal preference. Those are minor nits. Overall, I really like this photo. It’s many interesting shapes, textures and details keep me engaged for a while.
Well thanks. I’m always walking and looking. My vision is usually kinda outside the box. Becoming my style.
Thanks again. Peace to the Planet
