Tulips and windmill in San Francisco

Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, late March

Tony, the clarity here, with the light toned windmill, the nice blue sky and the mass of tulips looks very inviting. The smaller details keep my eyes wandering the frame. Looks like a great place to visit.

Lovely image Tony. I love Golden Gate park, spent many days there while growing up in San Francisco. Thanks for the memories.

Hi Tony, a nicely framed shot of what is probably a local icon. The scene is dominated by interesting lines and shapes; the rounded walkway and windmill top make a nice counterpoint to the straight lines of the blades, windmill outline, and walkway struts. Position of the top two blades forms an interesting V, and the colorful tulips provide a beautiful foreground leading up to the main attraction. That branch from the evergreen tree is in a perfect spot between the two left hand blades. Postcard worthy!
