Virginia bluebells

The Virginia bluebells, Mertensia virginica, have been blooming strongly for about two weeks. This is a 9 shot stack taken a week ago at a local wildlife refuge where I volunteer.

Mark: What a beautiful bunch! I’ve only come across bluebells in Colorado so this reminds me to be on the lookout for them when I get back there in May. Marvelous image.>=))>

Nicely balanced comp. I also like the cheery, warm colors!

Mark, gorgeous cluster or bouquet here. The scene is very refreshing, clean, and colorful…:+1:

Beautiful, Mark. An excellent job on the stack and a lovely composition. I’m used to seeing them in the mountains out here, so much later in the year.

We don’t have this variety of bluebell here, Mark - though ours ( entirely a pale blue ) are proliferating also. A beautifully captured cluster !

Nice work, Mark. I find it very hard to shoot bluebells without a distracting BG.:vulcan_salute:
