Good hunting pose-looks very intent on finding prey. Very sharp, stands out well against the background.

Fantastic capture, no nits from me!

Beautiful banking pose, Karl. Given the brightness of the harrier compared with the background, for a more realistic interpretation, I’d probably brighten at least the grass. However, I like this as posted because it really makes the harrier pop and there’s enough light on the background to make it work. Your title is kind of fun-it could be interpreted either way. I could see a vole with its bow and arrow out hunting harriers.

Very nice pose of a harrier in the business of looking for a meal. These guys are a challenge to shoot. You nailed this one!

Outstanding image here, Karl. I really like the composition, including the background and the placement of the subject in the field. Beautiful!

Terrific image Karl, really like the fanned tail and spread wings. Really shows off the agility of these birds while on the hunt. All looks good to me.

Thanks @Allen_Brooks , @Dave_Douglass , @Dennis_Plank , @Allen_Sparks , @David_Schoen and @Jim_Erhardt

Thanks for picking this as a : Editors" pick! a Happy Near to you and yours!
