Waiting for Mama - Series

For a size comparison to the chair - TINY!

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

We spend a lot of time at our son’s in the Trinity Alps, near Weaverville, CA. So much so, that we are now re-decorating one of his rentals for a permanent place to stay when we are there.
It’s a photographer’s paradise - bears, deer, bats, elk, bugs/butterflies/beetles/dragonflies galore.

This little fawn was born when we were there very recently; I almost tripped on it when walking around the area.
While fawns are supposed to stay still and quiet while mom is away, curiosity got the best of this little one, and he/she came out to explore a bit. I never got close, and left quickly.
I included the last (poor) image to show how TINY newborn fawns are - that’s a typical plastic lawn chair behind it.

Cute, Sandy. I like the first one the best, without the human elements, and the flowers and overall setting is nice. The pose is nice as well.

Sandy: Cute indeed and I find the oleander flowers a better reference to its size. Must be almost brand new. Really nice find and a heart warming story. I hope mom returned soon.>=))>
