Alan: Wonderful scene with the play of light and shadow on the walkway the star of the show for me. I also like that the sky isn’t blown, a testimony to you handling the dynamic range very nicely. Makes me want to be there >=))>

Thank you Bill! It is a very cool place to shoot and not nearly as wild as the actual Everglades. Plenty of gators too.

Ooh this looks like a wonderful place to explore. I love boardwalks and have visited many nature preserves just to experience them. They also make for excellent photos as you have done here. It reminds me of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park outside of New Orleans, only you had a much nicer day than I did. The dappled light is so inviting.

Hi Alan,
The dappled light is very nice and I like the way the boardwalk takes the viewer into the scene as I wonder where it is taking me and what will I see on my journey. I like your title as it fits my sentiments exactly. I’ll take the sounds that nature produces over those made by man any day. Nicely done.
