This was kind of fun to photograph! The geese were, indeed, walking on water! But frozen water.

Interesting…There’s enough softness in the ice to let it look like water, which is good for a double take. I’d be tempted to process for a bit more contrast in the ice of the bottom 1/3, but recognize that the dark to light transition from the top to the bottom is also important.

Thanks, @Mark_Seaver. It was really just a fun image for me! I see your point about the contrast. I can probably integrate that into the image with masking to minimize it toward the top.
