The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I am not much of a landscape photographer, but I like fall scenery and usually try and make a few trips to see and photograph the local mountain landscapes this time of the year. This image is from Albion Basin in the Wasatch mountains taken a few weeks back. I liked the combination of the colorful aspens and the snow and evergreens in the backdrop. I was there even as it was raining/snowing intermittently - you can see hints of clouds at the top of the frame.
Specific Feedback
I am interested to know what you think of the composition and the different elements in the image. Also, how I might improve this.
Technical Details

Welcome back Govind! Stunning image. I love the contrast of the seasons going from fall to winter and you also created a nice layered composition with the greenish leaves in the front to the blazing reds in the middle, to the snow in the background. The only thing that is bugging me a bit is the fog in the upper right, there’s not quite enough to make it feel integral in the scene, but I don’t want to lose that area either. I would consider adding a linear gradient to the upper area and using negative dehaze to add a bit more of that foggy effect, which adds yet another lovely layer to this and ties it all together. I would also consider reducing the saturation of the most saturated colors just slightly. Otherwise, outstanding!

Thanks for the feedback and more importantly, the edits and process, David. It certainly enhances the scenery to have more of the clouds in the backdrop. I have some more images where the clouds take up a little more of the image. I too noticed the saturation, which for some reason seems a little more here than in my original file.
Lot to work with here. For not being a “landscape” photographer, you did a pretty good job. I really like @David_Kingham rework.
