Waterfall of Moss

When I saw the streams of old man’s beard lichen cascading from the branches of this tree while on a walk one summer afternoon, it made me think of a waterfall.

Specific Feedback and Self-Critique

Any critique is great. This isn’t necessarily a favorite photo of mine, but I remembered it when I read this week’s theme. I do wonder about the dark green in the LR corner.

Hi Chris,

This is very nice, I have always been a big fan of hanging moss like this (Spanish?), and the way it drapes is typical but is also unique for some reason. Maybe it’s just the way you have it framed that makes it unique for me.

I like it

Hi Kris, this is just lovely, enhanced I think by the dainty foliage partially concealing the “waterfall.” No worries about the dark green area, it kinda ties in with the whole right side. Nice work!

@Merv @Jim_Lockhart Thank you for your kind comments.
